The image above is showing that what is perceived is not an irrefutable truth and the act of perceiving is the irrefutable truth. In other words, what you think about is in doubt and the act of thinking is the truth. For example, the illustration I made below, contributes to the idea of the one above because the person is thinking that he is seeing a tree. That could be in doubt because it could a broccoli. The mind thinks that it's a tree because of authority & tradition have influenced what people think about certain things. This shows that the act of seeing is the truth and the thing being seen, tree, is in doubt because it could be something else in another person's mind.
